No More Push Backs! Mos Def's Album Drops Next Week


Despite widespread rumors of push backs and delays, Mos Def's new album, The Ecstatic, will hit stores next week as planned.
In an email reportedly sent by the the rapper's label, Downtown Records, The Ecstatic's release date was confirmed as June 9.

Fans eager to get their hands on Mos' lastest project can buy the mp3 version on Amazon.com on June 8 and stream it for free via his MySpace page begining June 6.

In an effort to promote the highly anticipated album, Mos is said to be making several television appearances, including a features on BET's 106 & Park on June 8 and Late Night With David Letterman and Jimmy Fallon on June 9.

The Ecstatic features appearances by Georgia Ann Muldrow and Mos' longtime collaborator Talib Kweli.
