50 Cent Confronted On Stage By A Fan

According to DJ Whoo Kid, 50 Cent had another fan confront him while he was on stage during a concert. This latest incident happened last Monday night (December 21), while the rapper was in Nigeria.
"Finally out of Nigeria!!" wrote Whoo Kid on Twitter. He continued on to write that although the fan made it on the stage they were able to get away.
"Last show they shot AK47s at the fans - wtf!!!! It felt so good to see a BIG MAC in Germany!!! Food!! I'm A ALIVE! ALIVE!!! 1st concert in Nigeria, Africa the whole city power grid went out during What Up Gangser and Fan jumped on stage at 50 again Escaped in Black out!!! Video will be up soon!!!! I am still sh*tting on myself from the food and waters...yipes are there pampers in Germany!"
50's first encounter with a fan in Africa, which took place around May 2008, didn't go so well. He was performing on stage during a concert in Angola, when according to a fan's video footage a person from the crowd jumped on the stage, grabbed Fif's necklace, and then climbed back into the crowd. Fif denies that things went down the way the fan's video shows, but instead insists he has footage of the incident that shows him pushing the person off the stage and then jumping into the crowd, thus causing "all hell to break loose."

50 Cent Apologizes For Kanye West "Gay Tour" Comments

In a move no one could have ever predicted, 50 Cent has apologized for comments he made about Kanye West and Lady Gaga's now scrapped journey -- saying he didn't mean to offend with his "gay tour" remarks.
"During an interview with Angie Martinez yesterday, certain comments I made were taken entirely out of context," 50 said. "When I referred to the Lady Gaga tour as 'the gay tour,' I was basically repeating what I thought she had referred to the tour in the past. It was not my intention to offend anyone. I don't have a problem with anyone's lifestyle and have no issue with Lady Gaga. She makes great music."
50 made headlines on Thursday (October 1) for insinuating Kanye West was gay because of his choice of audience and quickly received a ton of backlash from gay rights groups.
"I have nothing against them, but he's cool with them. He goes, drops his video off to them. Remember 808s & Heartbreak? Where'd he premiere it? Ellen Degeneres. He went there to premiere his video. He's conscious of the gay community and wants them to buy his CDs," he told Angie Martinez.
Regardless of 50's feelings about the nationwide romp, Live Nation has reportedly pulled the plug on the West/Gaga tour due to undisclosed reasons.

50 Cent Confirms "40 Day" Cancellation

After reports of security concerns by local authorities and controversy about who was set to perform, 50 Cent has decided to pull the plug on his 40 Day community celebration.
50 was scheduled to perform and host the event at PS 40 in Jamaica, Queens today (August 30), but decided to call it quits and schedule it for another time.
"We are postponing it and working it out with police," 50's manager and Violator CEO Chris Lighty said.
Community leaders and local authorities previously voiced their concerns about the performenance, saying 50's past pay present a potential for violence during the event.
Although there will be no concert today, the rapper did bus hundreds of children from his old Queens neighborhood to Six Flags Great Adventure for a day of fun yesterday (August 29).
"I am constantly searching for ways to give back to the community that helped create me and contributed to my success," 50 said about the trip. "I can think of no better way to do this than to help improve the lives of the young people that reside there through programs created by my foundation."

50 Cent Talks About Staying Competitive & How Jay-Z Did Freeway Dirty

In a recent interview with XXL, 50 Cent explained why he has a lot of rappers CD's. He says his competitive nature makes him listen so he can stay in tuned with what's going on.
"A lot of different artists out there, they'd be surprised I got their CD. I play it because of the competitive nature, the art form; I don't shout it out or let 'em know I'm listening. You know, I just let it stay there because it might cause them to say something that makes me have to compete with them. You gotta kind of stay in-tune to what's going on in order to continue to be successful and when. Sometimes I lose interest in what's going on with the hood people, I just want to make what I want to make and make it from my perspective. Only way you really get a chance to do that is when you're leading. You're in the lead position and consistent, you stay there. They'll be conscious of you, but you don't have to pay them no mind."
Fif, whose never been one to shy away from controversy even commented on newcomer Drake and how Jay-Z did his own artist, Freeway dirty. In another interview with Funkmaster Flex on New York's Hot 97, the G-Unit general spoke candidly about Freeway's album and how it was a joint project between the G-Unit general and his Rocafella counterpart.
"Lil Wayne has that new kid, what's his name, Drake, the kid is coming up. I heard Jay-Z got him on his single, right? That was ill, like, that was fast! For him to put him on his single, like that's ill. I don't know if he's rhyming or singing but the fact that he's on it is hot. Like that was a fast come-up. Jay won't even rap on his own artists and be in the video with 'em. Freeway, he did Freeway dirty. In the Freeway project, we were doing something together. It was all of us together, Jay had a record with Freeway and I said if you shoot that one, I'll shoot the one that I did with him and we'll make the video.' Now tell me that ain't the perfect scenario for Freeway."
The album 50 Cent spoke about was Freeway's 2007 release Free At Last. The lead single, Rocafella Billionaires, was produced by Dame Grease and featured Jay-Z but no video was ever shot for the single. 50 Cent was also featured on the album on a song called Take It To The Top. The album was supposed to be co-executive produced by Jay-Z and 50 Cent, but only Jay's name appears in the albums credits as executive producer. Despite those features and other notable appearances by Jadakiss, Scarface, Busta Rhymes and Rick Ross the album has only sold a little over 100,000 copies despite being critically acclaimed.

50 Cent To Expand His "Entourage" Next Season

50 Cent seems to be doing more acting than rapping these days, as he is set to appear in the upcoming season of HBO's Entourage.
Although the full scope of his contribution to the show is still unknown, 50 will join Bow Wow as one of the many rappers the appear on the show.
50 was spotted on the set of the show with Jerry Ferrara, Adrian Grenier, and Doug Ellin driving down the streets of Los Angeles in a white convertible, says The Insider.
50's appearance seems to be adding to the hip hop flavor of the show, as they have also hosted the likes of Snoop Dogg, Saigon, T.I., and Kanye West.
The episodes featuring 50 Cent are said to be a part of the show's fifth season set to air in August.
