Rumors about the break up of Kanye West and Amber Rose have been making their rounds on the internet for weeks, but the rapper has remained largely silent on the manner -- until now.
In a brief but straightforward statement, a rep for West told the New York Post that the fashionable couple called it quits.
"They are no longer a couple," the spokesperson said.
Despite the confirmation of the break up, there was no word on if the couple split because of Rose's rumored relationship with rapper Cassidy.
Although Rose has denied any involvement with the Philadelphia rapper, Cassidy got the rumor mill going last week with his verse on Beyonce's Ego remix.
Rose was the first relationship West went public with since he broke up with fashion designer Alexis Phifer.
West and Phifer split in 2008 after a six year union.
