Fergie To Become Part-Owner Of Miami Dolphins
Black Eyed Peas star Fergie is showing her love for Miami, Florida by buying a stake in the city's football team.
Fergie is in final talks with Stephen Ross, the owner of the Miami Dolphins, to join Marc Anthony, Jennifer Lopez, Serena and Venus Williams and Gloria Estefan as shareholders in the NFL team.
According to SportingNews.com, NFL owners voted on Tuesday to approve Fergie as the latest celebrity minority investor in the storied NFL franchise. She just needs to sign off on the contract to seal the deal when she returns from Australia, where she is currently on tour with the Black Eyed Peas.
All celebrity part-owners have agreed to make appearances at the stadium during games as part of Ross' effort to attract a more diverse crowd.
