Suge Knight "Disappointed" Over Results Of Kanye West Meeting

Kanye West and Suge Knight attended a deposition this past Friday (June 18) in New York City regarding the night of the 2005 club shooting that took place in Miami.

According to reports, the rapper did not offer any information to the former rap mogul’s legal team as they questioned him for six hours behind closed doors. But West did deny having anything to do with the security arrangements at the venue.

“He [West] basically put his hands over his head and didn’t say anything for six hours,” said Knight’s lawyer Marc Brumer to the New York Post. “He evidently doesn’t know anything about anything, despite the fact that he hosted the party.”

Knight also commented on the session and said that he was not happy with the way things went. “I figured I could sit him down, man to man, and get this resolved. I’m disappointed,” he said. “My whole thing is: I’m not here to put nobody behind bars.”

Knight is suing West and the owner’s of the Shore Club in Miami for not providing enough security at the 2005 shindig. An unidentified gunman came into the party, which was being hosted by West, and opened fire. Knight was shot during the incident and suffered a shattered femur. He is seeking to recoup $200,000 in medical expenses and is looking for more than $1 million in total damages.

The trial for the civil suit is scheduled to begin on December 6th in Miami.

Diddy Changes Clique's Name To The Supreme Team

Originally known as The Supreme Team, Diddy’s rap super crew has changed their name after finding out that another group already owns the moniker. Now the collective, which includes Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj, Busta Rhymes, Fabolous, Red Cafe, DJ Khaled, and Diddy, himself, goes by the name Dream Team.

Diddy announced the name change via his Twitter account and during a recent interview, rapper Rick Ross went into further detail about the adjustment.

“Shout out to Irv Gotti and their whole movement, they’ve been repping the Supreme Team for a minute,” explained Ross. We were caught up in the moment; it just fit the situation so good. We kind just did our crew thing and ran with it.”

In the end though, Ross thinks that the new name fits the group better and draws comparison to the original Dream Team, which was made up of the 1992 gold-winning U.S. Olympic basketball team.

“I felt like the Dream Team was even more appropriate,” he said. “I felt that was the greatest team ever put together. They assembled the greatest players from each market on the same team and they went and took on the world. They conquered the world! Shout out to the Dream Team and the Supreme Team.”

Lil Boosie Says He's Innocent Of First Degree Murder Charges

Lil Boosie recently commented on the new first degree murder charges that were levied against him by Baton Rouge prosecutors. While being transferred from the Louisiana State Police headquarters, where he underwent questioning, to the East Baton Rouge jail, Lil Boosie told reporters, “I’m innocent. I’m completely innocent.”

The new charges stem from the murder of a 35-year-old Louisiana man by the name of Terry Boyd. Authorities are claiming that Boosie hired a hitman to take out Boyd, who was shot while inside his house by a gunman, who was outside the home.

The Trill Entertainment rapper was also hit with drug charges after police say he attempted to smuggle narcotics into the Dixon Hills Correctional Facility, where he has been serving out a four year sentence that links back to drug charges and parole violations he accrued in late 2009.

His girlfriend, Walnita Decuir, 25, along with Joshua Wilson, a former correctional officer at Dixon Hills, and another inmate were also hit with drug charges.

The police are looking to other similar crimes that were committed over the last year with the hopes of linking them to Boosie. “We’re investigating the others in a similar fashion,” said East Baton Rouge District Attorney Hillar Moore. “We are investigating the common pattern of these killings and money.”

By the time the investigation ends, Boosie could be facing five additional murder charges. If convicted of the single murder charge he is facing now he could receive the death penalty.

Bun B Teaches At Rice University

Bun B has accepted to teach a course on Hip-Hop music and Religion at private Rice University in Houston, Texas. Starting from next Spring, Bun will be dealing with attendance-matters, office hours, reading lists and other things related to a teaching job: “I gotta set up a reading list and all this dumb sh*t, well not dumb sh*t, it's [real sh*t].”

Yukmouth Denies Suge Involved In Assault; Refuses To Talk To Police

Oakland rapper Yukmouth has just released a statement denying that former Death Row Records CEO Marion “Suge” Knight led a group of men who attacked him Monday evening in California.

According to first reports, Yukmouth originally identified Knight as one of 11 men who accosted him the parking lot of a San Fernando Valley supermarket and robbed him of $92,000 worth of jewelry.

Yukmouth allegedly identified Knight as one of his attackers to police, but quickly recanted the story.

The rapper told the web site VladTV.com that he is refused to cooperate with police, will not press charges and denied Knight was involved with the assault.

Instead, he placed the blame on the Los Angeles Police Department and claimed that officers have a vendetta against the controversial Knight.

LA police have been after Suge Knight for years and are lying about me to try to get him. If Suge was caught jaywalking they would lock him up,” Yukmouth said. “I never filed a police report and I never pressed any charges. Me and Suge have always been cool - I wouldn't have had a meeting with him if I thought there was some sort of problem.”

According to Yukmouth, other people in the parking lot watched the group of men assault him and called the police and filed reports.

“The LA police have been calling me trying to have me come in and cooperate, but it's not happening,” Yukmouth said.

Waka Flocka Flame Discusses Shooting

Rapper Waka Flocka Flame has addressed the last Tuesday (January 19) shooting in College Park, Georgia that left him injured.

During an interview with Atlanta radio station, Hot 107.9, Waka says that the incident was a hit and the suspect was sent to kill him, but got scared.

"I really can't breathe that good but I'll break it down right now," said Waka. "All I know is somebody was sent to kill me but he was so scared he let me get out the car - he hit me in my arm - trust me, he could have did his job. That's the word out to him and his people. I'm straight though, I just broke one of my ribs - I'll be out there. Shout out to everybody that's been hating on me."

So Icey associate DJ Holiday explained to XXL the extent of Waka's injuries last Thursday (January 21) and said that the 23-year-old rapper, whose real name is Juaqin Malphurs, is making good progress.

"He got shot in the arm and the other one hit him in the shoulder and it moved around and hit him [near his] lung...so he has a hard time breathing and moving. The bullet is lodged on the right side of his chest up under his arm, and that's where the most trauma was. He is a tough dude, [and] he makes jokes about it."

Waka was shot early Tuesday afternoon while at a Carwash on Old National Highway in College Park, GA by an unidentified assailant in what was initially thought to be a botched robbery.

T.I. Back In The Studio, Releasing New Album In 2010

T.I. is back in the studio and working on releasing a project in 2010, according to producer Jim Jonsin.

The self-proclaimed King of the South and Jonsin collaborated together in the past on Whatever You Like off of 2008's Paper Trail. As for the future, Jonsin says Tip is back like he never left and that right now his schedule permits him to work during the week and not on the weekend, but an album will be out this year.

"It doesn't seem like he missed a beat," said the producer during an interview. "He was so upbeat, his spirits were up, and he's excited to be out and working. He hasn't changed, he sounded exactly like he did when I talked to him months before he went in. He's back in the studio. I sent him some music via email. He can work during the week and not on the weekend, I believe. He's definitely working on an album for this year right now."

Music executive Kevin Liles tweeted about T.I.'s return to the studio shortly after Christmas of last year, but deleted the message shortly thereafter.

"My right hand went home to visit family & found his way to the studio. He said, 'Why wait for 2010, get it in now'? Love the attitude!" read the tweet.

Second Earthquake Hits Haiti

A 6.1 magnitude earthquake rocked Haiti on Tuesday (January 19), shaking buildings and sending panicked people running into the streets only eight days after the country's capital was devastated by a previous quake. The US Geological Survey said the quake hit at 6:03 a.m. about 35 miles west of the capital, near the town of Petit Goave.

Wails of terror rose from frightened survivors who are still coping with the cataclysmic aftermath of the 7.0-magnitude quake.

Prime Minister Jean-Marx said the government was sending planes and an overland team to check out the situation in Petit Goave, the centre of this morning aftershock.

Hundreds of thousands of Haitians remain homeless, hungry and in mourning - most still waiting for the benefits of a nearly $1 billion global aid campaign that has brought hundreds of doctors and thousands of troops to the impoverished Caribbean nation.

According to sources, at least one woman died of a heart attack, according to Eddy Thomas, private undertaker. She had a heart condition and the new quake finished her he said while pushing her body along the street on a mobile stretcher.

Lenis Batiste who is camped in Port-au-Prince with his two children said the latest quake felt really strong. "Each aftershock is frightening, we fell it right (pointing at his stomach) because after the last Tuesday you never know how strong it is going to be he said.

Ja Rule Facing 3 Years In Prison

Rapper Ja Rule, 33, appeared in New York City court yesterday (January 20) in an attempt to suppress evidence in his weapons-possessions case, but Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Richard Carruthers disagreed with his attorney's arguments and refused to throw it out.

The case stems from an arrest following a police stop after a July 2007 concert. After a full search of the car police found an unlicensed loaded .40 cal pistol and a small amount of marijuana. While in court yesterday, Ja Rule's attorneys argued that the search of the rapper's Maybach was unjustified, but prosecuted pointed out that the car had no insurance and a suspended registration.

The hearing was not a complete lost, however as the judge did dismiss Ja's statement to the police regarding the marijuana in his pocket. Ja Rule, whose real name is Jeffrey Atkins, has pleaded not guilty to the weapons-possession charge, which carries a minimum sentence of 3,5 years in prison.

According to the New York Post, following the hearing, Ja Rule's defense lawyer Stacey Richman said, "We disagree with the decision, but we'll tend to other issues now."

Those others issues include trying to discredit the methodology investigators used to match an extremely small amount of DNA retrieved from the gun to Ja Rule. He will remain free on bail until his next court date on March 3.

Former "From G's To Gents" Star Wanted By Police, Surrenders

Markice "Kesan" Moore from MTV's reality show From G's To Gents turned himself in to police yesterday (January 20) after being sought by the Cobb County, GA police since last Thursday (January 14).
The reality star is accused of brutally beating his one-year-old daughter. Her injuries were extensive including the breaking of both of her arms, one leg, three ribs, and her collarbone. Kesan spoke with TMZ yesterday and proclaimed his innocence in the charges, saying "I love my daughter."

Kesan also revealed that there was an incident in July 2009 when his daughter fell out of her bed and broke her wrist while under his supervision, according to him that is the only accident he is accountable for. As far as the delay in turning himself into the police, he claims that he need time to "get everything in order" before going in.

Kesan's last encounter with the Cobb County police happened in November 2009 after the authorities pulled him over for making an illegal lane change; it was also later discovered he was driving without a license.

Moore appeared on the first season of MTV's From G's To Gents in 2008. The show is hosted by Fonzworth Bentley, and circles around 14 "gangsters" who try to reform their lives and become gentlemen.

Rising rapper Waka Flocka Flames was shot, several sources have told AllHipHop.com.

While details are sketchy, sources stated that the rapper was shot during a robbery in College Park, Georgia.

Sources stated he was shot in the arm, but the bullet went through his ribs. He is expected to make a recovery.

His last show was at Atlanta, Georgia hotspot, Tongue & Groove last night (January 18).

Suge Knight Sued For Child Support

Former owner of Death Row Records, Suge Knight, is being sued for child support by the mother of his four-year-old child, Taz Maree Knight.

Tammie Renell Hawkins filed papers in Los Angeles County Superior court seeking support for Taz Knight, who was born in May 2005, but according to TMZ, by California law, support is based on the presumed income of the person coughing up the dough. According to documents, Suge's net income is a little over $1,200 a month, and therefore the most Hawkins can get monthly is $302.

The last couple of years have not been kind to the former rap mogul. Suge was once the head of Death Row Records, which at its peak earned over $100 million annually, and launched the careers of such artists Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Tupac Shakur, and Lady Of Rage. In 2006 though he was forced to file for bankruptcy, and eventually lost the record label.

The once most-feared man in the music industry has also been the butt of jokes, and target of shots from rappers. Recently in a freestyle, California rapper Game taunted Suge, saying: "It's 2010 and I said f*ck Suge! Everybody in this b*tch know what Game 'bout/ Suge took the same route...Let's vote, 2010, n*gga f*ck Death Row!"

Buju Banton Pleads Not Guilty In Drug Case

Reggae artist Buju Banton has pleaded not guilty to drug charges stemming from a December 2009 arrest in Florida.

Banton, whose real name is Mark Myrie, was arraigned Thursday (January 7) on a charge of conspiring to buy more than five kilograms of cocaine from an undercover law enforcement officer in Sarasota in December.

According to reports, during the court appearance the Jamaican singer did not request bail, but confirmed to Judge William Turnoff that he was waiving his bail hearing in Miami to be transferred to Tampa. If he had elected to post bond, he would be held by immigration officials until his trial date.

Banton's lawyer took the time to speak with the media after the hearing and insisted that his client is innocent, and is not interested in seeking a plea deal.

"He believes that because the indictment was filed out of Tampa, that's where the case should be defended," said his attorney, Herbert E. Walker III. "He's a very spiritual person. He has a lot of faith in God. He's confident he's going to be exonerated."

If convicted Banton could be sentenced to over 20 years in prison. He is currently being held in federal custody in Tampa, Florida.

Lloyd Banks Arrested On Assault & Robbery Charges

G-Unit's Lloyd Banks was arrested over the weekend in Ontario, Canada on assault, robbery, and forced confinement charges. Banks along with three other men are accused of assaulting local promoter Chris Hines of Chris Hines/Ultimate Entertainment.

According to reports, Banks, whose real name is Christopher Lloyd, was scheduled to perform a few of his songs at Club NV in Ontario at 9pm Friday night (January 8), but showed up well after midnight and performed only one song. Banks then got into a dispute with Hines at a local hotel over the performance and appearance fees after the promoter refused to pay, claiming the rapper did not fulfill the terms of the agreement.

From there Hines alleges that Banks along with Nicolas Sloane, Shawn McGee, and Tyrell Cooper held him in his hotel room against his will, and proceeded to assault and rob him. He suffered bruises and possible head trauma from the incident and was rushed to the hospital.

Banks, Sloane, McGee and Copper made a video court appearance on Sunday afternoon (January 10), and are due to appear in court again in the early part of this week. As of Sunday the four were still in police custody.

According to DJ Whoo Kid, 50 Cent had another fan confront him while he was on stage during a concert. This latest incident happened last Monday night (December 21), while the rapper was in Nigeria.

"Finally out of Nigeria!!" wrote Whoo Kid on Twitter. He continued on to write that although the fan made it on the stage they were able to get away.

50's first encounter with a fan in Africa, which took place around May 2008, didn't go so well. He was performing on stage during a concert in Angola, when according to a fan's video footage a person from the crowd jumped on the stage, grabbed Fif's necklace, and then climbed back into the crowd. Fif denies that things went down the way the fan's video shows, but instead insists he has footage of the incident that shows him pushing the person off the stage and then jumping into the crowd, thus causing "all hell to break loose."

Sean P, half of the southern rap duo YoungBloodZ was arrested for disorderly conduct in North-West Atlanta early Tuesday (December 22) morning following an incident at the nightclub, Tongue and Groove.

The30-year-old rapper was at the club hosting a release party for his latest mixtape, Cornerstore Da Mixtape, which reached the internet in October of this year. While the details surrounding the incident are still unknown, Sean P, whose real name is Sean Paul Joseph, was charged with both disorderly conduct and battery, but the latter was later dropped. He appeared in court on Tuesday (December 22) where his bond was set at $1,500 according to local channel, WSBT News.

Sean Paul, who changed his name to Sean P to distinguish himself from the Reggae artist of the same name, first gained recognition from the hip-hop community when he joined forces with fellow Atlanta rapper J-Bo to form the group YoungBloodZ. Together the two released hit singles such as U-Way in 1999, 85 in 2000, and Damn! from 2003, which is their only top 10 single to date.

Sean is currently working on his second solo project tentatively titled, Very Necessary, which was originally set to be released in 2008 under LaFace Records, but it will now hit stores in 2010 via Cornerstore Entertainment/Asylum/Warner Music Group.

Kid Cudi Arrested At Gunpoint

Kid Cudi was arrested at gunpoint yesterday (December 22) after finishing a photo shoot at the Joyrich Store in Melrose Avenue due to a case of mistaken identity by the police.

According to reports, the rapper was pulled over by an officer while on Fairfax Avenue. Cudi was with his entourage in two SUVs and a jeep when two police cars blocked off the road and three others pulled up next to the vehicles. The passengers were then ordered to get out of their vehicles with their hands on their heads, and then were made to kneel on the ground where they were handcuffed.

However, after they were handcuffed, officers, who were responding to a burglary call, realized their error and allowed Cudi and his entourage to go on their way.

"Who knows, really, the story changed a bunch. I'm just happy to be back. I'm a free man! For that moment I was not free. I was in handcuffs. It did not feel very comfortable."

Kid Cudi doesn't feel that this was a case of racial profiling but feels that the police are under a lot of stress since of the large amount of crime that takes place in L.A. and that he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

"We're in LA, it's a rowdy place in the United States, you know? And a lot of sh*t goes down. And these cops have to use force,"he explained.

"So, it's like I understand that they were just doing their job. I just wish we weren't in that place at that time."

T.I. Released From Jail, Heading To Halfway House

According to Vice President of Promotions for Grand Hustle Entertainment, Amir Boyd, Hip-Hop superstar T.I. is now home. Boyd tweeted the following shortly after noon today (December 22), "The KING is home y'all! Merry Christmas!"

News regarding the incarcerated rapper's release from prison started early last week after his lawyer Steve Sadow mentioned the possibility of him being released to a halfway house prior to his projected release date, during an interview with XXL Magazine.

" [T.I.'s projected release date is around] the fourth week of March 2010. Now it is up to the [Federal] Bureau of Prisons to decide whether someone should be placed in a halfway house prior to the projected release date," explained Sadow.

"...we are hopeful that T.I. will be placed in a halfway house within the next month or so, which would be about two or three months before his projected release date. We are hopeful for that, [but] we do not have any control over it."

T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, was serving time stemming for an arrest in Atlanta on October 13th, 2007, four hours before the BET Hip-Hop Awards. Tip was charged with possession of three unregistered machine guns and two silencers, as well as possession of firearms by a felon, both charges are felonies. He was facing 10 years and a $250,000 fine, but in accordance with his plea deal was sentenced to one year and one day in prison and ordered to pay a $100,000 fine. On May of this year, he began serving that sentence in Forrest City, Arkansas.

T.I. is currently staying at Dismas Charities Atlanta West correctional center and, after his three month stay there, he will be on house arrest for 23 days and on probation for two more years following that.

Rapper Bow Wow recently revealed on Thursday (December 17) his plans to fire all of his business managers and then took to Twitter to explain himself.

Kid CuDi Kicked Off Of Lady GaGa's "Monster Ball Tour"

Grammy-nominated rapper Kid CuDi has been dropped from the North American leg of Lady GaGa's Monster Ball Tour where he was the opening act.

Reports hit the internet yesterday (December 16) that CuDi was going to be dropped from the tour as a result of the altercation he had with a fan during the December 12th concert in Vancouver, Canada.

While the reports were merely speculation at first, representatives from GaGa's record label have confirmed the rumors. According to TMZ, the sources at Interscope said that the rapper is no longer with the tour but wouldn't give a reason as to why. Kid CuDi is however set to be replaced by pop singer Jason Derulo whose debut single, Whatcha Say hit the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 charts last month.

CuDi's run-in with the fan, Michael Sharpe, was caught on camera and shows the rapper going into the Commodore Ballroom audience after a wallet was tossed onstage and hitting Sharpe in the face.

Sharpe released a statement explaining what happened saying, "So here's the story: Some guy throws their wallet at CuDi (his wallet, I don't know why). Being in front, everyone reached out when [Kid Cudi] was like, 'Oh, who wants this?' Of course, everyone in the front is going to be, 'Yeah it's mine.' So I caught it and when he was walking away, I believe he jokingly said, 'If that's not yours, I'ma come get you.' A couple seconds later, I felt bad so I tossed it on stage (clearly not throwing it at him, but just tossing it) and he comes down, over the barricade, and punched me. The people beside me were f*cking awesome. The fans were actually holding him back. Then, the bouncer came and the show ended. I still have my wallet."

Sharpe told TMZ that he does not plan to press charges against CuDi. "I'm not upset, I'm not going to be that person," he said. "I just want to meet him and be like, 'I'm the guy you punched.'"

T.I. May Get Early Prison Release To Move Into Halfway House

Clifford Harris Jr., better known as rapper T.I., received a year and a day sentence due to illegal firearms possession and for possessing a gun as a convicted felon and began serving his sentence last May at a low-security prison in Arkansas.

T.I. wasn't expected to be released until March 2010 but there are several rumors circulating the net that he may be released into a halfway house at the top of the year.

The rapper's lawyer spoke about his case stating, "Now it is up to the Federal Bureau of Prisons to decide whether someone should be placed in a halfway house prior to the projected release date. The Bureau of Prisons can do that and typically does it either a month before, or two months before...as much as six months before the projected release date."

T.I.'s lawyer is confident that his client will be receiving an early release date.

"We are hopeful that T.I. will be placed in a halfway house within the next month or so, which would be about two or three months before his projected release date. We are hopeful for that, we do not have any control over it. The Bureau of Prisons makes that decision entirely on its own, they don't share that decision with the public and they don't share that decision with the defense lawyers, but we are hopeful because we know that T.I. has handled himself accordingly and conducted himself correctly while he has been incarcerated, we are hopeful that the Bureau of Prisons will give him two or three months of halfway house."

Promoters Blame DMX For Postponed Coolio Bout Against Eric Martinez

A mixed martial arts celebrity fight featuring rapper Coolio has been postponed.

The cancellation of the entertainer’s bout against MMA boxer/actor Eric Martinez is the latest development in a continuing saga surrounding the event, which was scheduled to take place Saturday (Dec. 12) in Birmingham, Alabama.

New York-based rhymesayer DMX was originally recruited to take on Martinez in a three round fight for Thunder Promotions’ Alabama Pride, but backed out of the event when the promoter refused to fix the fight for the rapper or guarantee his safety.

Thunder Promotions, which later filed a $1 million lawsuit against DMX in November, soon found a replacement for the rapper/actor in Coolio.

"As CEO of Thunder Promotions LLC, I have endeavored to promote the highest quality of fight entertainment. Toward that goal, my company has resisted any and all efforts to participate in fights that were less than above board and legitimate," Riccardi said in a statement. "With this event, Thunder Promotions LLC had expended a great deal of time, effort and money promoting an event that was to be headlined by the rap personality DMX. When he decided to back out of the event due to our refusal to fix his fight, it left Thunder Promotions LLC with little time to promote an event with a replacement headliner."

Amid talk of DMX being a bigger attraction than Coolio for Alabama Pride, Thunder Promotions postponed the bout on Friday (Dec. 11).

Ricciardi, admitted the last minute change was not enough to properly promote the rapper’s bout and the event’s second main event that involved UFC fighter Jeff Monson taking on Travis Fulton.

In its lawsuit, Thunder Promotions claims DMX’s cancellation resulted in hundreds of thousands of dollars and damages.

In addition, promoters accuse the Yonkers rap star of failing to return a $6,000 deposit that was given to insure his participation in the fight as well as conspiring with his manager to scam them using a fake management company called Built For War management.

The postponement of the Coolio fight has not prevented Thunder Promotions from scheduling its next MMA fight, which is tentatively set to take place on January 23.

A full fight card as well as the location of the event will be announced in the coming weeks, said Ricciardi, who added that “any comp tickets will be honored at the next scheduled event with a VIP upgrade."

Despite cancelling the Coolio bout, Ricciardi was adamant about his company’s intent to press on with a renewed focus on delivering worthwhile events.

“With this lesson learned, I can assure everyone and all that Thunder Promotions LLC will continue with a vengeance and the public can anticipate future events that we will promote that will overshadow any promotion in the State of Alabama and elsewhere,” he said.

Buju Banton Arrested On Federal Cocaine Charges

Celebrated reggae star Buju Banton is being detained in a federal Miami prison following his arrest last Thursday (December 10) on drug charges.

Banton, real name Mark Anthony Myrie, was booked with another unidentified man after a surveillance camera caught them in the process of a drug transaction.

Authorities claim to have found the singer with 5 kilos of cocaine, and charged him with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute.

Banton was in the midst of completing a milestone 2009. The veteran deejay had received a Grammy nomination for his ninth studio album Rasta Got Soul, and finished a successful North American tour.

During the tour, Banton also attempted reconciliation with the gay community. The singer had been at odds with the group since his popular 1992 “Boom Bye Bye,” which endorsed violence against gay men.

After receiving years of protest, Banton finally conducted a sit-down with the gay community this past October. According to reports, the meeting remained civil and productive despite Banton’s refusal to renounce his past views.

If convicted of the pending drug charges, Buju Banton faces up to 20 years in prison.

At press time, the Miami authorities are expected to release further case details on Monday (December 14).

New Orleans rapper Lil Wayne is facing difficulties selling his 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom upscale apartment in Miami due to the fact the scent of marijuana is so strong.

The apartment which is listed for 520,000 dollars has become publically known for its smell after interested buyers visited the home.

"My fiance and I called to make an appointment to see it, and the broker, deadpan, goes, 'I have two questions: Are you offended by the smell of marijuana?" an unidentified couple told the NY Post. "And do you mind coming late in the afternoon? It's currently rented by Lil Wayne, and these are not morning people."

Although the potential buyers were appalled by the half naked women in the house, they did respect the fact that Wayne kept his house neat.

"Once we got there, a member of Wayne's posse opened the door to the overwhelming smell of marijuana. Two hot, rap-video-looking girls were walking around in nothing but a bra and underwear, blasting hip-hop. We just went in and looked around and tried not to stare," they revealed. "He had a perfectly organized closet of crisp T-shirts on hangers, neatly stacked piles of XXL magazine, and a fully stocked bar featuring multiple bottles of Hennessy Black."

Wayne discussed his usage of alcohol and marijuana in several interviews this year with Tim Westwood and Katie Couric.

"Whatever the hell was in my cup the reaction I did was get more popular, more successful, learn how to play guitar, put on the autotune and stretched my voice, and became #1 in the country with everything I dropped. I should probably pick that cup back up," Wayne argued. "I will stand up for marijuana any day. I'm a rapper. That's who I am, Miss Katie, and I am a gangster and I do what I want. And I love to smoke. And I smoke."

Lil Wayne's album Rebirth has suffered several delays and is expected to drop in February 2010. Also that month he will get his sentence for his weapon possession charge and is expected to serve a year in jail.

Nelly's Mansion Gets Robbed

St. Louis rapper Nelly's mansion located in Wildwood, Missouri, was invaded early yesterday (December 11) morning around 7 A.M. 12 police officers, a helicopter, and search dogs arrived on scene after receiving a call about an intruder.

The suspect of the break in was described as a black male, age ranging from 20-30, mustache, glasses, and wearing a black coat.

The call was made from inside the house from a female who said the unknown man flee from the house as soon as police arrived. Nelly was not present in the home while the incident took place.

Police suspect the intruder got into the home of Nelly through the window. Reports state that the suspect got away with a duffle bag full of electronics that along belong to Nelly and fled away in a black GMC Yukon.

Police will release more details shortly.

In other news, Nelly will be at the Lenox Square Mall located in Atlanta, Georgia, today (December 12) in Macy's to sign autographs for anyone who makes a purchase of 75 dollars or more.

Jay-Z Bouncers Fired Over 40/40 Club Incident

The bouncers involved in the assault of two customers at Jay-Z's 40/40 night club have been terminated. Video footage of the brutal attack landed online earlier this month, and led to the suspension and eventually the firing of the 12 individuals while both the police and the club conducted separate investigations.

TMZ spoke with Couri Glen, the former supervisor of security at the club, who said: "We were initially all suspended and then fired for misconduct." Glen claims though that he and his team members were wrongly terminated because they were "just doing our jobs."

Accounts of what happened in the club that day vary greatly. According to Glen, he initially approached the men because of complaints they were groping women. He then tried to escort the men out of the club and that's when they started to swing at the security guards. The patrons have stated that they did nothing to provoke the attack.

In the video footage that leaked you only see what happened after the two men, Tyrell Durant and Leonard Clark, reached the parking lot of the Atlantic City club. In the video, they were being beaten mercilessly by approximately 12 members of the security staff despite pleas of "cool out" and "don't hit him". The video also shows the employees repeatedly kicking one man who was already on the ground and stopping only after being persuaded to do so by a management level employee wearing a suit and tie.

Nas Ordered To Pay Kelis $51,000 A Month

Wednesday (December 9), Los Angeles Superior Court Judge David S. Cunningham ordered Queensbridge rapper Nas to pay $51,101 a month in spousal and child support to soon-to-be-ex-wife Kelis.

The ruling came after two days of testimony from both musicians, as they each portrayed themselves as cash-strapped. Kelis admitted to inking a new recording contract with Interscope Records for $175,000, but will reportedly only receive $50,000 from that deal with the remainder going to her managers. During cross-examination, she told Mark Kaplan, Nas' attorney, that her comeback career is a far cry from the chart topping fame she experienced with the 2003 single Milkshake. At the time, Kelis' income could not be determined because she has not filed an income tax return in years.

Nas confirmed with his testimony that he would not be releasing a solo album in 2010, but it was unclear if that included his collaboration with Damian Marley, Distant Relatives. He also revealed that he owed $700,000 to his manager and $2.5 million in back taxes to the IRS.

After the hearing, Kaplan said the changes benefit Nas as he will no longer have to pay $13,000 a month for the former couple's Los Angeles home. Kelis has been living at the home with the couple's son, Knight, in recent months and has installed recording equipment at the house.

Kelis' attorney, Laura Wasser, said that she was "thrilled" with the ruling. Neither Nas nor Kelis have personally commented on the ruling as of yet.

Gangsta Boo Charged In Armed Robbery

Lola Chantrelle Mitchell, who goes by the stage name Gangsta Boo, was one of two suspects arrested in connection with the robbery of a Dollar General store on July 23rd of this year.

Boo turned herself into the police on Tuesday (December 8) after learning of the warrant against her for conspiracy to commit armed robbery in Olive Branch, Mississippi. Her actual role in the crime was not released by police, but her alleged accomplice Marcus Curtis, 30, is being charged as the gunman.

According to the Desoto Times, Curtis is accused of approaching a female Dollar General employee as she exited the store shortly before 9 pm July 23rd, and with a black revolver in hand ordered her to return inside and empty a cash register. He then also forced a male employee to place money from the store's safe into a bag before demanding employees to lie on the floor as he fled on foot. No shots were fired.

Following her arrest, Gangsta Boo was released on $100,000 bond pending a court appearance on January 5, 2010. Curtis was extradited from Memphis and booked into DeSoto County Jail on Wednesday (December 9) and is being held on $100,000 bond.

The 28-year-old is known for being an original member of Memphis rap group Three 6 Mafia and she has released three solo albums to date.

Mario Calls Gucci Mane's Prison Sentence A Setback

During an interview with radio personality Jenny Boom Boom, Mario said that though he hasn't personally spoken to Gucci Mane about the situation, the rapper's jail time is nothing more than a setback.

"It's definitely a setback, I mean, he's got a lot of great music out right now. He's been having a great run for himself. I don't care what you got going on, when you gotta sit for a year? It's a setback," said the singer. "I think he's still hungry, you know what I'm saying? He's still got a lot of work to do. Prayers go out to him though."

Gucci Mane has been sentenced to one year in jail as a result of not completing 600 hours of court-ordered community service stemming from a 2005 assault case, testing positive for illegal narcotics, and failing to get proper permission to travel as mandated by a judge. Last month, Gucci issued a statement accepting full responsibility for his actions, and saying that he is ready to "deal with what is front of [him] right now."

In related news, despite being in jail, Gucci called into DJ Drama's radio show last week and ending his long-running beef with fellow Atlanta rapper Young Jeezy.

Lil Wayne's "Rebirth" Album Pushed Back...Again

Despite reports that say Lil Wayne's rock album, Rebirth, will be released on December 21 along with Young Money's compilation, We Are Young Money, Birdman, co-founder of Cash Money Records, has recently announced via his Twitter account that the album has now been pushed back to February 1.

The announcement was seemingly confirmed by a Universal Motown rep who told Entertainment Weekly that the long-delayed rock-influenced follow-up to 2008's Tha Carter III has been pushed back to an undetermined date in 2010.

No reason was given for the delay, but speculations place blame on the album's leaks and their failure to chart well. The Rebirth album will have appearances from artist like Fall Out Boy, Lenny Kravitz, and Young Money members Shanelle and Nicki Minaj. Eminem was also recently confirmed to make an appearance on a track titled, Drop The World.

Eminem Crowned Top Selling Artist Of The Decade

According to Nielsen Soundscan, Eminem is the best selling artist of the decade. Selling more than 32.2 million albums in the 2000s, he beat out The Beatles, who sold 11.5 million copies of their greatest-hits compilation, One, *NSYNC, whose album No Strings Attached sold 11.1 million copies, and Norah Jones' Come Away With Me sold 10.5 million.

Eminem was also the only artist to place two albums on the Top Selling Albums Of The Decade list with 2000's The Marshall Mathers LP selling 10.2 million copies and 2002's The Eminem Show clearing 9.8 million.

Nielsen Soundscan based the lists on data collected from January 1, 2000 - November 1, 2009, and although the decade has not technically ended yet, any sales between now and December 31st will not alter the ratings. Eminem owns the #1 spot by a margin of 20 million.

The company also generated a list detailing the top-selling digital songs of the decade, and the list looks noticeably different. Taking the #1 spot with over 5.2 million downloads was Flo Rida for his hit song, Low featuring T-Pain. Lady GaGa's Just Dance came in at #2 with over 4.6 million downloads.

Pharrell Executive Producing The Game's "R.E.D. Album"

During an interview DubCNN, The Game revealed that Pharrell would be serving as executive producer on his upcoming album, The R.E.D. Album.

"Pharrell is my new favorite producer. I got a whole new respect for Pharrell and The Neptunes but especially Pharrell and how he do his thing," said Game. "The way that he coach me when we're in the booth, it's like a Pat Riley to a Tim Hardaway or Pat Riley to a Magic Johnson...and The Neptunes, people don't really understand who The Neptunes are, but if you take away The Neptunes from hip-hop, you take away the color in hip-hop.,"

On Tuesday (December 8) while being interviewed by Rap-Up.com, Game continued praising Pharrell and the work he is doing on the album.

"Pharrell's gonna take my album to the next level, keep me hood and cross me over at the same time by executive producing my album, so that's [speaking about the Star Trak tattoo he was getting on his arm] how I show my loyalty. Pharrell is my friend. We've created a work bond and established a friendship. Star Trak is gonna make me money in the future - that logo, that brand, that man helping me. That's something that's gonna put milk in my refrigerator and help me feed my kids, keep them in private school, and keep them doing what they do."

Aside from the Star Trak tat, Game is also planning to get a tattoo called the Evolution Of Gaming, which will feature the controllers from Nintendo, Saga Genesis, Sony Playstation, and XBox 360.

Chris Brown's "Graffiti" To Enter Charts At #3

According to Hits Daily Double, Chris Brown's third solo album is on target to sell between 95-100k records for his first week. He will take the #3 spot, as Susan Boyle's debut album, whose third week totals could hit 600k continues to fly off the shelves. Taking the #2 spot will be the soundtrack to the FOX hit show, Glee With Glee Vol. 2, which will sell between 120-130k copies.

In a recent interview with MTV, the R&B singer said: "My fans [have] given me a great response on the album. They actually said they love it. They tell me what songs they love. Like 99 percent of the comments are all positive about the album. I didn't get the way they looked at my album. I just felt like there was a little bit of hate because of the situation and not because of the music. But we're gonna keep it moving."

Southern rapper Gucci Mane released his major label debut album The State vs. Radric Davis this week, and is expected to sell between 85-95k records. Snoop Dogg's Malice N Wonderland projection falls in the 55-65k range, and producer Timbaland's Shock Value 2 will reach 35-40k in sales. Virginia hip-hop duo The Clipse and their third studio album Till The Casket Drops should sell between 30-35k.

Diddy Denies Day26's Departure From Bad Boy

During a recent interview with radio host, Kendra D, Diddy denied internet reports that Day26 has left Bad Boy Records.

"I don't know why that's on the blogs like that," said Diddy. "I still have my label deal with Atlantic. I didn't sell my label, like I still have my artists that are over there. From Day26 to Janelle Monae, etc. You know what I'm saying? They're still apart of Bad Boy...the Bad Boy imprint will still be on there. Unless, Day26 could just wake up and say, 'We just want the label to say Atlantic' and that would be cool with me. But right now, it's Bad Boy/Atlantic. I'm there for them. I'm not abandoning any of the artists that are over there. I've been hearing that at lot on the blogs, but I don't really pay attention to the blogs."

Rumors regarding Day26's status with Bad Boy records started early in the year when news of Diddy's signing to Interscope Records first broke. They were fueled by Willie, a member of the group, who during an interview said, "Bad Boy is always our family, but we're with Atlantic right now...we really want to get people focused on the artistry, on the music. I think a lot of people lost it with the entertainment of the show. So now, we really want to show people what we're all about, that we do our thing...we do it all."

There is a YouTube video surfacing the web with a lesbian woman who is supposedly Nicki Minaj back in the day before she became a "Barbie." In the video the woman said she and Remy Ma had relations and that Remy was fronting on her.

Nicki Minaj has a lot on her hands as she deals with pressures of being the single standing female artist in the main stream as of now. Her and other artists from the label will have to hold their own as their CEO Lil Wayne goes behind bars.

Minaj's relationship with Wayne has developed from mixtape collaborations to a record deal. She is Young Money's official first lady and has to fulfill high expectation demands from her label and fans.

Speaking to Hot 93.7, Nicki was able to talk about Lil Wayne's jail time.

"I just know that he's is going to be up there in February. I'll [visit him] as often as I can I mean, he's gonna be up in New York and I'm from New York, so, I would love to just come up there as often as I can," she said.

Nicki also feels that Wayne's time will go by fast and much love will be waiting for him when he returns to the game.

"He's gonna have so many people there. I'm sure it will go by like days to him. It will probably be a weird experience, but at the end of the day, he's gonna come out stronger like he always does. Nothing ever phases him really, which I guess is the story of a champion."

Minaj's schedule has been hectic and she continues to stay on her grind, so she is uncertain about the release of another mixtape, but fans will still get to hear from her through the features she will be making on other artists' songs.

"December 22nd, as well as Lil Wayne's Rebirth album," said Nicki in response to a question in regards to the release date of the upcoming Young Money compilation.

On Drake's noticeable absence from Wayne's rock album, she said, "I don't know [why Drake isn't on Rebirth], you gotta ask Lil Wayne and Drake. I don't have anything to do with that, but I do know Drake is probably going to be on Tha Carter IV."

"I would like it to be third quarter of 2010," said Nicki regarding her solo album release date. "I want people to get the chance to know me. Really know me."

Nicki says that Wayne has ensured that she will be straight business wise as she owns her publishing and merchandise.

T-Pain Exposed By His Former Nappy Heads Group Members

Tallahassee, Florida singer T-Pain didn't come onto the music scene by himself, he used to be a part of a popular Southern group called Nappy Heads.

Like most groups eventually end up doing, they split up pursuing solo careers hoping to gain more exposure which would ultimately help the group.

"None of the members [were meant to be seen] as the star of the group, they were all stars of a group. They were participants of a group."

Different artists such as Nelly, 50 Cent, Eminem, and their own success was meant to be a way to expose other talents within the click.

"It was a big family, all of us grew up together."

In the upcoming documentary called The Untold Story: Nappy Heads, T-Pain's former group members feel he hasn't done his part in making a way for the artists in which he started with. T-Pain is already in the works of a fourth album called Revolver and there still hasn't been any mention of the group reuniting musically.

T-Pain's former group members could tell that something shady was going on with him because he eventually lost sight of the group.

"We come in the studio to do work as a group, but he didn't wanna do nothing. The next day we come back in the studio, he got 2 and 3 songs by himself."

Also there is a source from the documentary stating that T-Pain has used the group for performances when he is home just so he receives an excited reaction from fans.

Pleasure P Issues Statement Regarding Child Molestation Accusations

R&B singer Marcus Cooper whose stage name is Pleasure P has responded to the child molestation accusations against him, and says that the rumors are completely false.

The former Pretty Ricky member wrote a statement on his PleasurePMusic.com website on Thursday (December 3), and had this to say: "All of the recent rumors and accusations that are being circulated about me are 100% false. They are disgusting and vile; and they are being spread by individuals with their own sick agendas. The purported documents that are also being circulated are forgeries," said Pleasure P.

"I have never met or known anyone by the name of 'AGoldstein' or Laura Goldstein or Ashley Goldstein, which I believe are fictitious names. I have never been represented by an attorney named Goldstein. For someone to go to such depths to assassinate my character and slander my good name is truly criminal. My attorneys are investigating this matter and will take all necessary and appropriate action to protect my name and reputation," he continued.

"A Goldstein" is the Twitter ID of a person, claiming to be the daughter of a lawyer that once represented Pleasure. The twitter account was used to broadcast the child molestation allegations against the singer, and the aforementioned forged documents were sent to blogger, Necole Bitchie, from a person claiming to have inside information regarding the allegations.

Tracks off of Chris Brown's album have been leaking daily as the public is eager to hear what the R&B singer's latest album, Graffiti, will offer in terms of revelations into his incident with ex-girlfriend Rihanna, and the latest release Famous Girl is causing quite a stir.

On the track, which is reminiscent of old-school R&B, Brown sings over the chorus: "Since I thought I found my woman/ There were other guys who thought the same thing about it/ Like damn, you let me down, down, down/ 'Cause you're famous, girl, for breaking hearts."

On the second verse of the track, Chris also makes reference to a rumored romance between Young Money rapper Drake and Rihanna saying, "Drake would say that you're the best he ever had. Rumors come and go but you keep a shadow. Everywhere you go it follows."

Towards the end of the song, Brown croons, "Too much pressure I wish I was frozen. Seems we lost our way. I hope you're happy being famous girl."

Rihanna and Drake quickly squashed rumors of a relationship during the summer after the New York Post claimed that the two were seen kissing at a bowling alley in New York City.

Graffiti will hit stores on December 8th, and ABC will air what is being billed as a "revealing, tell-all interview" with Chris Brown on December 4th.

Gucci Mane, Young Jeezy & DJ Drama Squash The Beef

During DJ Drama's Gangsta Grillz show last night (December 3) on Atlanta radio station Hot 107.9, Young Jeezy and Gucci Mane came on air and expressed their wishes to dead a beef that first started in 2005.

"You know nobody can ever change this history we made, we made classics," said Jeezy regarding his relationship with DJ Drama. "And besides that, we opened up a lane for a lot of these young cats to come into the game. I seen more trappin' in the industry now than I ever seen. I know we had a lot to do with this...I just want everyone to know, just by me and you sitting here talking, that's what men do. Now it's back to the money, it's back to the business. I ain't gonna lie, I was caught up in my feelings...We gotta make some more history and we gotta open some more doors for these people man."

"On my end it's like even through everything, we weren't speaking a lot, there was stuff in there. Then I realized we can agree to disagree. We are letting you know it's bigger than us. We do what we do for y'all," said Drama. "We are about to get so much more money, we are about to make so many more outlets for revenue for the city, for everybody to eat."

Drama and Jeezy had fallen out after Drama released a 2008 Gangsta Grillz mixtape with Gucci Mane, whom Jeezy was at the time beefing with. Jeezy reacted by calling the Atlanta-based DJ a traitor and accused him of changing after he became famous. A war of words ensued and would lead to several altercations between the their entourages at various music industry events.

The beef between Gucci Mane and Jeezy stems from a 2005 single featuring both rappers entitled, So Icy. The hit track was initially supposed to be featured on Young Jeezy's debut album, but instead ended up on appearing on Gucci's independent album, Back To the Trap House. After a few diss tracks the feud quickly escalated with Gucci Mane murdering a CTE affiliate in 2005. He was eventually acquitted of the crime 2006 after his lawyers proved the rapper was acting in self-defense.

Gucci phoned into the radio show from jail and said that he was ready to move on by squashing the beef.

"I'm 100% down with it [squashing the beef], you know I'm 10 toes forward. I'm with it and I think it's a great idea and that's what I'm fittin' to do. I hope everybody is ready 'cause it's back on," said Mane.

Lil Boosie Says He Needs Rehab Not Jail

Rapper Lil Boosie, real name Torrence Hatch, was convicted for possession of marijuana and violated his house arrest and was ordered to serve 10 years in prison.

Lil Boosie felt the jail time would be beneficial for him at first but now feels he simply needs rehab for his marijuana addiction. The rapper feels his sentence is unfair and that he's being judged on his alter ego Lil Boosie, instead of the true person he is inside, Torrence Hatch.

"If I made a mistake with marijuana, why am I not eligible for rehab?" Boosie questioned. "I've been on marijuana since a teenager. I need some rehab. Jail is not rehab."

"They're treating me on who they think I am. They judging me on Boosie Bad Azz, not Torrence Hatch, I had to do these two shows these last two days to feed my family."

Lil Boosie claimed he violated his house arrest to do shows in order to feed his children. This will his forth prison sentence, three of which for marijuana possession. Lil Boosie is now serving his two year sentence at Winn Correctional Center in Louisiana and he will have to complete five years of probation once released.

Gucci Mane Sentenced to One Year in Jail

Yesterday (November 12) Gucci Mane was sentenced to 12 months in jail for probation violation during a scheduled court appearance yesterday, and according to his lawyer began serving his time immediately. According to MTV, in line with the terms of his sentence Gucci may be released from jail in six months.

Gucci was just released from jail earlier this year in March after serving more than 6 months on a one year sentence stemming from his failure to fulfill his court-ordered 600 hours of community service from an assault case from 2005. Since then though, the rapper has arguably become one of the hottest MCs in hip-hop. With a feature on tracks from Omarion, Mario, and 50 Cent he not only conquered the underground with his mixtapes, but brought his sound to mainstream radio as well.

His aptly-titled album, The State vs. Radric Davis, will be his second studio release is set to hit stores on December 8th. The first single from the album, Wasted featuring Plies, is Gucci's most successful single to date and is his first top 40 hit. Chris Brown's Tour A Flop? His Camp Says No

Chris Brown's camp went into damage control mode when rumors began to circulate that the singer's career was so wounded by the Rihanna incident that no one was buying tickets to his upcoming "Fan Appreciation" tour.
Yo! Raps previously dropped the news of Brown's new mini tour in anticipation for the release of his new album Graffiti.

Despite heavy promotional pushes, however, word around town was that Brown's name was so tainted sellers couldn't give away the tickets, much less get people to purchase them.

With motives of rescuing the singer from worsening public image, his camp quickly pounced on the rumors, dismissing them as inaccurate.

"Dates are expected to sell out, and given the economic climate, ticket sales... are doing very well. In fact, at the Nokia in NYC approximately 1800 out of 2100 tickets were sold in just 4 days. Additionally, the Atlanta show is sold out and 644 tickets were sold in Connecticut in 1 hour," a statement reportedly attributed to Brown's agent read.

In addition to his tour, Brown also recently decided to move up the release date for the album.

Instead of dropping on December 15th, the album will now grace stores on the 8th.

Months of public bashing and behind-the-scenes flip flopping have been punctuated with Yung Joc's freedom from the record label shackles that bound him.

Joc took to Baller Status to divulge the details surrounding his long awaited release from the labels, a process he says has already begun.

"I just got my release and one of the terms of the release was a defamation clause, so honestly, I can't really talk about it too much," Joc revealed. "I've been released, severed the business ties. May God bless them and their regime, but I'm doing my own thing now. I'm actually in negotiations right now with a few labels. I just choose not to call out the different entities. Things are looking very good, God is very good. When I was going through this whole thing with the Bad Boy/Block situation, I didn't know what the other side was going to be. I didn't know if there was going to be light on the other end. I was hopeful, but it's actually working out for the best. I ain't mad, nobody's mad right now, everything is good."

Joc previously dished on his relationship with Diddy and the powers that be at Block Ent. in an unfavorable interview with Billboard over the summer.

"I haven't been paid any royalties since I've been out, after over a million albums sold," Joc said. "For my first album, they gave me a $25,000 advance when I was supposed to get more... Then I had a million dollar budget for my second album, never even got an advance off of it. For the third one they hit me with another $25,000, like I'm some chump in this sh*t. Rick Ross Goes At 50 Cent On "Baby By Me (Remix)"

Yesterday (November 2), rapper Rick Ross released a remixed version of 50 Cent's Baby By Me song featuring Ne-Yo. On the song, Ross alludes to the fire that burned down 50 Cent's baby mama's house rapping, "Have a baby by me baby, the realest n*gga 'round. He'll huff and puff and burn your house down."

The verse continues with Ross saying, "I ball like Lebron James, I'm Dwayne Wade laughing in my driveway, funny everybody paid/ Standing tall, we in the club it's like we on that. Beanie Sigel Disses Jay On New Track "Average Cat"

Early this morning Hot 97's DJ Kay Slay debuted, Beanie Sigel's new track Average Cat, which to the surprise of most turned out to be a Jay-Z diss record. At first silent about the status of his relationship with Jay, the latest track by the Philly rapper appears come to fruition due to a culmination of past events. The most recent blow took place at Jay's September 11th concert.

Sigel raps, ""The rapper Shawn called the police on me/ 'cause I was front row at the Blueprint 3/ Sh*t, I just wanted to see him MC, and reminisce on when we was the R.O.C./ But he called all the cops, not only that he brought out the Feds/ So that's telling me 'F*ck You Sig'/ So 'F*ck you too' and 'F*ck Bleek three'."

Approximately four minutes into the seven minute song, Beans stops rapping and starts talking. With noticeable anger he says, "I think I held my tongue long enough about this whole Roc-A-Fella situation. I was the realest thing that happened to the Roc."

Reminiscing over old Roc-A-Fella beefs, he says, "I fought all them battles, me that's who, Jadakiss, Nas, Dipset. Anybody you would've told me to go after. Matter of fact, you ain't even have to tell me. I front-lined that thing of ours, for that diamond that people was throwing up. I'da took a bullet for Roc at that time."

Sigel insists that neither jealously or money is the motive behind his speaking now, spewing, "This ain't about a dollar. Accomplice In T.I. Friend's Death Pleads Guilty

Padron Thomas, 41, plead guilty to manslaughter and other charges as an accomplice to the 2006 slaying of T.I. associate, Philant Johnson, according to The Associated Press. He was initially charged with murder.

Thomas was the driver of the car that was involved in the May 2006 shooting that fatally wounded Johnson, and injured 3 others. The wild car chase stemmed from an argument with T.I. and his entourage at a local nightclub in Cincinnati. T.I. and his crew left the venue, but a group of men followed them and begin to shoot at the vehicles carrying the rapper and his friends.

As a part of the plea deal, Padron testified last December against his younger brother, Hosea Thomas, who pulled the trigger. Hosea, 34, was found guilty of murder, felonious assault, and illegally having possession of a gun after a felony conviction. He was sentenced to 66 years in prison. This is the second time that Hosea was convicted of shooting in a public area, he was charged with the same crime in 1992, after firing his weapon during a bar fight. A pregnant woman was injured in that crime.

Padron Thomas is scheduled to be sentenced on November 17th, and in line with the plea deal, faces 10 years in prison. He is currently serving 17 years on unrelated federal drug charges.

Beanie Sigel Fires Shots At Jay-Z, "F You Too And F Bleek Three"

ay-Z and Beanie Sigel have been engaged in some sort of unspoken psuedo-war since the days of the demise of Roc-A-Fella, one that has now spilled over into a diss track from the Philadelphia native with claims of disloyalty.

Sigel debuted his track, Average Cat, early this morning (October 30) via HOT 97's DJ Kay Slay.

Though he doesn't air out all of their dirty laundry for the world to see, Sig did pull the curtain back on a shocking incident he says occured during Jay's live televised performance at Madison Square Garden on September 11.

"The rapper Shawn called the police on me/cause I was front row at the Blueprint 3," Sigel raps over the track. The rapper was deported after serving over 9 years in prison for his involvement in the 1999 Club New York shooting that left 3 injured. While Shyne spends time regrouping in his homeland, politically connected Harvard law professor Charles Ogletree will continue to work on his behalf on his immigration status here in the States. Fergie is in final talks with Stephen Ross, the owner of the Miami Dolphins, to join Marc Anthony, Jennifer Lopez, Serena and Venus Williams and Gloria Estefan as shareholders in the NFL team.

According to SportingNews.com, NFL owners voted on Tuesday to approve Fergie as the latest celebrity minority investor in the storied NFL franchise. She just needs to sign off on the contract to seal the deal when she returns from Australia, where she is currently on tour with the Black Eyed Peas.

All celebrity part-owners have agreed to make appearances at the stadium during games as part of Ross' effort to attract a more diverse crowd.

Busta Rhymes Ordered To Pay $75,000

Another rapper is in trouble with the law again. This time its Trevor Nelson also known as Busta Rhymes. Back in 2003, Busta was accused of attacking a man at a rap concert in Albany, New York. The victim Alex Duncan claims that Busta Rhymes and a bodyguard assaulted him at a performance at the University of Albany.

He claims that both Busta and his bodyguard sprayed water on him, punched, and beat him. According to the New York Post, Duncan says he suffers from psychological troubles and has nightmares from the attack.

I wanted something to come out of it. I don't even go to parties anymore, because there's always someone asking, "What happened to that Busta Rhymes case," Duncan testified in court. Busta Rhymes' lawyer, Robert Kalina was not in court for the trial or hearings.

Duncan is seeking $75,000 in punitive damages from Busta Rhymes. The rapper has been ordered to pay Duncan the money.

Rhymes has not commented about the trial. There's no word if Duncan or Rhymes will return back to court.

Drake Dissing Hip-Hop Legend Tupac Shakur?

Drake recently raised some controversial with his song Fear where he is allegedly dissing the legendary Tupac Shakur but the Hip-Hop superstar said that this is not the case.

"I never cried when 'Pac died," Drake raps on Fear from his So Far Gone EP. "But I probably will when Hov does/ And if my tears hold value, then I would drop one for every single thing he showed us/ And I'll be standing in a puddle."

To avoid misunderstandings Drake called MTV News from Toronto to explain his lines.

"A lot of people also sort of don't understand the meaning of that line," Drake said. "It's not necessarily that I don't love West Coast hip-hop or that I don't love 'Pac now that I'm 22, but that line was just said to show how new I am to hip-hop. And like I said, I was 9 when that happened, so it didn't really affect me. But that song in general was just one of those things that took awhile to finish because it was an opportunity to say a lot of the things on my mind. That always feels good as a rapper, when you can get your thoughts out."

In related news, Billboard reported that Drake's first single from his debut album Thank Me Later will be Shut It Down featuring The-Dream which is expected to drop in January 2010.

"It's sexy. It's slow, but there's an energy to it," Drizzle told Billboard. "I rap on it. Me and Dream both sing on it. It's cool. It also has a message that's never really been explored by male singers. This song is sort of like an anthem for women, like pre-the club. Lil Wayne Expecting Son With Nivea

has learned that Lil Wayne is expecting a son with R&B singer Nivea. The Hip-Hop superstar confirmed the rumors with BBC's Tim Westwood during his radio show. The baby will be Weezy's third son to be born in just over a year.

As Yo! Raps previously reported, Wayne and Lauren London welcomed a new born baby boy into the world via a Los Angeles, California hospital in September 2009.

"Two girls pregnant at the same time?" Westwood said. "Congratulations."

Wayne just responded "Three". I mean [I'll have] three sons," he explained to Westwood who thought the rapper had gotten three women pregnant at the same time.

The rumors of Nivea's pregnancy began to circulate last month when his second son was born. In addition to London's baby, Wayne is now expecting another child with Nivea. He is also the father of Reginae Carter with his former wife from Tiny & Toya fame and Dwayne Carter III.

A representative for Nivea has yet to comment the baby rumors.

In related news, Weezy is working with the Young Money team on the next project, his long awaited solo LP Rebirth and a new mixtape called No Ceiling. In a move no one could have ever predicted, 50 Cent has apologized for comments he made about Kanye West and Lady Gaga's now scrapped journey -- saying he didn't mean to offend with his "gay tour" remarks.
"During an interview with Angie Martinez yesterday, certain comments I made were taken entirely out of context," 50 said. "When I referred to the Lady Gaga tour as 'the gay tour,' I was basically repeating what I thought she had referred to the tour in the past. It was not my intention to offend anyone. I don't have a problem with anyone's lifestyle and have no issue with Lady Gaga. She makes great music."

50 made headlines on Thursday (October 1) for insinuating Kanye West was gay because of his choice of audience and quickly received a ton of backlash from gay rights groups.

"I have nothing against them, but he's cool with them. He goes, drops his video off to them. Remember 808s & Heartbreak? Where'd he premiere it? Ellen Degeneres. He went there to premiere his video. He's conscious of the gay community and wants them to buy his CDs," he told Angie Martinez.

Nick Cannon's recent comments about Eminem and his issues with Mariah Carey prove that the former Wild 'N Out host is not very good at letting things go.

He served a maximum of 14 years to a 20-year sentence for attempting to purchase 100 kilograms of cocaine from FBI agents in 1996.

But the real Ross was famous for his run in with the rapper Rick Ross also known as William Roberts, who was a Correctional Officer at the Federal Prison.

"Freeway Ricky Ross" was very upset that Rick Ross had stolen his name. Freeway had told AllHipHop in a past interview. "After seeing all the stuff that has been going on with Correctional Officer (William Roberts) that stole my name, [it] makes me think back to a year and a half ago when we spoke. I tried to talk to him like a big brother and let him know to be you, and that he couldn't be me." Ross the inmate had many influence on the rapper Rick Ross.

During his years as a drug king, Ross grossed over $23 million dollars per week selling crack cocaine on the street corners of Los Angeles in the 80's. His 20-year sentence was exposed by articles in the San Jose Mercury, claiming that the C.I.A. would dole out cocaine to black communities.

For Ross' future, there's a new memoir about his life and a plan to start a record label with music industry veteran, Wendy Day.

Lil Boosie Sentenced To Two Years In Jail

Looks like being "superbad" has garnered a degree of punishment that's likely more serious than Lil Boosie bargained for when he created the pseudonym.

Lil Boosie has been sentenced to two years in jail as a result of the guilty plea he entered on Tuesday afternoon (September 22). Boosie, whose real name is Torrence Hatch, was slated to stand trial on Monday, but reached a plea deal with the DA.

The sentence stems from a case related to an arrest involving the rapper last fall which resulted in gun and drug charges. The rapper was pulled over by police where a gun, marijuana and a cigar laced with an unknown drug was found during the routine vehicle search.

According to police reports, Boosie approached deputies in his Dodge Challenger while on the road in East Baton Rouge Parish. Claiming there was a scent of marijuana coming from the vehicle, authorities reportedly approached the 26 year old rapper who, in turn, refused to step out of his car and then proceeded to drive away. Stopping him from escaping, Boosie was eventually arrested by deputies and placed into Parish Prison on counts of marijuana possession, possession of a firearm with a controlled dangerous substance and attempting to run from law enforcement.

When asked about the motive behind his decision, the southern rapper claimed that the quicker he can put his actions in the past, the better. "I'm just ready to get all of it behind me and get further on with my career," Boosie said. "I plead guilty in my own best interest."

The rapper could get out in a year on good behavior.

Mario & Trey Songz Set To Headline BET/Live Nation Tour

A double mash-up is about to hit a city near you when Live Nation and BET team up with singing sensations Mario and Trey Songz for a new club tour.

Mario and Songz will kick off their tour at clubs and theaters across the country on September 29 at the House of Blues in Los Angeles, Califormia.

The cross-country jaunt will end in November and feature supporting acts Day 26, Sean Garrett, and RydazNRtist.

BET will serve as the tour's exclusive media partner, says Billboard.com.

"BET is a brand that is highly respected by artists and music fans alike and they wield considerable marketing power in major markets across the U.S.," House of Blues president of talent Michael Yerke said in a statement. "Together we hope to expand the roster of national tours playing Live Nation's national network of clubs and theaters."

Mario is currently making waves in the industry for his hit song Break Up, featuring Sean Garrett and Gucci Mane.

Meanwhile, Songz has been quickly emerging as what some call "the next R. Kelly" for his new swag and album Ready, which features the hit songs I Need A Girl and LOL :).

He's also been seeing success for his soulful hook on Drake's song Successful.

Though they say they harbor no hard feelings toward Lil' Wayne, production duo Playa-N-Skillz are still going to the media about not being paid for the work they did on the rapper's wildly popular album Tha Carter 3.
"It's not officially settled, but I'm going to say we took massive steps forward to get everything resolved," they revealed in an interview with Real Talk NY. "There was never really a lawsuit, I don't know where that one really [went] left field. We were never officially suing Lil' Wayne and Young Money and Cash Money, it was just we were at a producer conference and we were giving advice to young producers and I'ma say it again. Sometimes, you gotta just jump out into the water without a life vest and just go and do what you gotta do to survive. And that's what we did, we had the opportunity to be on an album like Carter 3, we'll arrange it later on, we gonna get it fixed. We handle all the paper work, that's not the case like we didn't handle our business, it's just the checks haven't been cut. Not just for Play-N-Skillz, but d*mn near every producer on that album has not been paid, you know what I'm saying? Play-N-Skillz originally broke the news about their lack of compensation during an interview with Allhiphop earlier this year.

"We haven't gotten any compensation," Skillz said. "We really didn't want to speak on anything like that, just because of our relationship with T-Pain and Wayne. We're more thankful for the opportunity to be on Tha Carter III, but business is business at the end of the day."

Play-N-Skillz are perhaps best recognized for their work on Chamillionaire's Ridin' and the above mentioned track in question, Lil' Wayne's Got Money.

Eminem Continues Legal War With Apple

Eminem and his publishing company, Eight Mile Style, are not letting up on their legal issues with computer software and consumer electronics giant Apple, as they are now suing the company for copyright infringement.

EMS has filed suit against Apple, claiming iTunes illegally put 93 songs from their catalog up for sale without their permission or compensation, says the Associated Press.

Apple, on the other hand, claims they didn't have to go through EMS because they obtained authorization to sell the songs through Aftermath.

According to EMS, however, Aftermath's permission is irrelevant because they did not have authorization to make any deals on digital downloads.

Both parties are scheduled to meet in court on Thursday (September 24) to hash things out.

This copyright infringement lawsuit is just one of many issues Eminem has had with Apple and iTunes.

Back in March of this year, FBT, a production company Em was "in bed" with, filed a lawsuit against Apple, claiming they were entitled to 50% of all royalties from the sales.

FBT's lawsuit was unsuccessful.

Em did score a victory against Apple in May though, when a judge forced the company to pull an ad featuring an actor singing his song Lose Yourself.

A lawsuit over that issue ended with a undisclosed financial settlement for Em.

Jay-Z: "No One's Scared Of 50 Cent"

Taylor Swift isn't the only one being asked a myriad of questions about the MTV VMA debacle. But instead of walking out on interviews, Jay-Z is facing the questions head on and taking on 50 Cent's threats in the process.

While he acknowledges the error of West's ways, Jay says he's not mad at him for his awkward awards ceremony announcement. What he says he does take issue with is 50 Cent's comments about blacking West's eye if he were in Swift's shoes, a threat Jay says intimidates no one.

"I think he would have done that if that was 50 Cent, no one's scared of 50 Cent," Jay explained to radio personality Trevor Nelson. "I want everybody to be clear, no one's scared of 50 Cent. So I just think that's what he believed. I think it was rude, I thought it was in appropriate. And I told him this much, but I don't think he was wrong."

Yo! Raps previously reported on 50 Cent's comments about West following the now over publicized incident with Taylor Swift.

DMX Rants, Says Jay-Z Made Him Leave Def Jam

DMX has been caught on tape in what some claim is an alleged drug induced rant, going on about Jay-Z's position at Def Jam and how his actions ultimately forced him to change his label situation.

X says that he still respects Jay and his talent, but could not stand by as he made some questionable decisions after being appointed president of Def Jam back in 2005.

"I f*cks with him and had respect for him -- until he became the president of Def Jam and I ain't gonna say too much more about it, but you know what it is," X said, brimming with emotion and excitment during a studio session with actor/singer Tyrese. Although he claims to have no beef with Joell Ortiz and Crooked I, Benzino goes on an almost five minute rant about the group, saying his rap group Made Men could "tear their a**holes out."

"I think them n*ggas is mad overrated, real talk," Zino said in a video clip currently making its rounds on the internet. "Yeah, them n*ggas is mad overrated yo, for real.
